What is the Green Ribbon Campaign?
Every year the Lord Mayor’s Appeal runs The Green Ribbon campaign during Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK and World Mental Health Day globally, to raise awareness of the importance of supporting mental health in the workplace.
Based on a successful campaign by PwC, and created by The Lord Mayor’s Appeal in 2017, we encourage businesses to demonstrate their commitment to ending the stigma around mental health by encouraging their employees to wear green ribbons and turning their physical and virtual workplaces green.
